ABOUTUS
Rev. Rick and Clara West began mission service in 1975, serving in Peru until 1994. Rick served as the area director for Latin America from 1995 until June 2008. Currently he is serving as coordinator for the Ibero-America Wesleyan Fellowship.
The purpose of the Fellowship is to link Wesleyan ministries in all Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking countries. The Fellowship will be the umbrella organization for theological education, ministries to Wesleyan Youth, and the Ibero-America Wesleyan Women’s Board, as well as the "next generation mission outreach" by Latinos in Cuba, Spain and in the African countries of Mali and Equatorial Guinea. Rick also serves as the District Superintendent in the Dominican Republic and is the GP liaison/coordinator for Suriname, Guyana and French Guiana in South America.
Clara’s ministry includes serving as a consultant to the Ibero-America Wesleyan Women’s Board; as an administrative assistant to Rick; and as communication coordinator with support team.
Rick and Clara have four grown children and seven grandchildren.
